How long will the first appointment take?

At Classic Chiropractic, the length of your appointment may differ depending on your specific requirements. For your initial visit, you should plan on dedicating approximately 25-30 minutes. This duration may fluctuate based on the individualized needs of each patient. Subsequent follow-up appointments typically last around 10-15 minutes to address your progress and make any necessary adjustments.

If corrective exercises are incorporated into your session, please allocate an additional 25-30 minutes to your appointment time. This allows us to guide you through the exercises effectively, ensuring you get the most out of your treatment. Our focus is on optimizing your health and well-being efficiently while catering to your unique circumstances.

What does the examination entail?

The examination begins with a detailed history of your specific problem, along with other related health information. The physical examination will be a series of tests including range of motion, posture, orthopedic, neurologic and palpatory evaluation. The doctor will use this information to come up with an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plan. This is the time to ask any questions you may have. The doctor may or may not refer you for X-ray evaluation. We do not take the films here, but refer to a nearby radiologic clinic. If you already have films, please bring them. At that point the doctor will determine if chiropractic would be right for you. It is common to receive your first treatment at the conclusion of your first visit.
